We believe that a single action can make a difference in the community, and that collective action can greatly impact the world. Through advocacy and outreach activities, our team works tirelessly each day to contribute their part to the greater good. Who We Are
A Distinct Identity
Here at Creating MAGIC Trees in The Berkshires, we are driven by a single goal; to do our part in making the world a better place for all. This idea stemmed from our founder's time spent living in Arizona. In Tuscon, AZ they paint the rocks bright colors as they also struggle with a very colorless landscape. Our decision making process is informed by comprehensive empirical studies and high quality data evaluation. We strive to build productive relationships and make a positive impact with all of our pursuits.
For only $20 you can sponsor a tree! We provide the approved tree wrap, paint, ribbon and flagging tape! AnnaMaria (founder) discusses theme, color, etc. and then comes out to wrap and decorate the tree. Everyone is welcome to assist in the process, as I have had families and children come out and participate in the wrapping and process of making a MAGIC tree!

Sponsor a MAGIC Tree
Sponsor a MAGIC tree at your home, business or organization. The Berkshires is home to beautiful, lush greenery in the Summer and bright, bold colors in the Fall. When Winter arrives, the trees become bare and gray, the mountains become gray and even the beautiful white snow eventually turns a gray and brown color. Among several mental health issues Berkshire residents face is Seasonal Effective Disorder (SAD), also known as seasonal depression. Lack of sunlight and color make vitamin D levels drop and many experience mood changes during the Winter. Bringing bright colors that are safe for trees to our landscape is one way we can help add a little color and happiness to The Berkshires. For $20, you can decorate a tree with breathable tree wrap that is approved by a local Arborist and tree flagging (also safe for trees). Paint the wrap before or after it is on the tree, add gems, duck tape and more! The possibilities are endless!
Below you will find pictures of a DEMO tree that local artists, Gail and Phil Sellers, sponsored through their organization Art About Town. You may know them from the paintings on the crosswalks on Main St. in North Adams. This DEMO tree was simply to test concept, time and materials.
